The IECA is dedicated to advancing the practice, study, and teaching of Environmental Communication in civic, political, educational, business, and cultural contexts. We are a professional association of teachers, scholars, artists, practitioners, students and organizations involved in Environmental Communication around the world.
Anyone interested in joining the ECN2 can do so for free. Just register for an account on the site. But for the full benefits of IECA, you need to be a paying member.
IECA membership is on a calendar year basis, from January 1 to December 31 each year.
Founding members who joined in 2011 have helped us launch the organization financially and have had access to the 2011 issues of Environmental Communication: A Journal of Nature and Culture, along with other benefits. Thank you founding members!
Founding members receive a 10% discount on their renewals for as long as they maintain continuous membership. Founding member who wish to renew should login to the site and use the Renewal form.

Individual and Student members receive the following benefits:

All rates are in US dollars.
Membership questions can be sent to admin@environmentalcomm.org.
Before paying for a new membership, please register an account on the site, then come back here. You don't have to wait for your account to be activated before returning here.
Current members already have site accounts. To renew your membership, please login and use the Renewal form in the member area or on your user profile page. Thanks.
This will take you to a secure PayPal page where you can pay for your membership and give us your details. You'll be able to use a credit card or your PayPal account.
Note: After you successfully complete the PayPal transaction, they will issue you a receipt. Within 24 hours (usually much sooner, but depends on the time of day) you should have access to the member area of site through your account. Journal access takes a few days and is handled separately by the publisher.
Please select the appropriate rate from the drop-down menu below and complete the other options.
If you do not wish to use PayPal, you can pay for membership with a check (U.S. residents). Please use this form. Thanks.
